CUSTOM PRODUCT

Built around your brief

Bring us a flavor profile, a target market, or a competitor benchmark - our R&D team develops, samples, and scales the recipe that fits.

R&D CAPABILITIES

From idea to shelf-ready spec

Six R&D capabilities that turn a brief into a product your buyers reorder - tasted, tested, and ready to scale.

Flavor profiling

Sensory benchmarking against your reference samples, target market preferences, and competitor SKUs - so the prototype hits the right palate from round one.

Recipe formulation

Ingredient sourcing, ratio modeling, and process design - tuned to your target cost, label claims, and the shelf reality of your destination market.

Sensory & shelf-life

Trained-panel evaluation, accelerated and real-time shelf-life trials, and stability testing across the temperatures your product will actually see.

Regulatory & labels

Ingredient declarations, nutritional panels, and claim validation for your destination market - reviewed by our compliance team before the first artwork proof.

Pilot batches

Production-line pilot runs that prove the recipe scales - same equipment, same QA gates, same documentation as your eventual commercial batches.

Scale-up to production

Handoff to our production team with a locked spec, validated process parameters, and a sampling plan for your first commercial run.

PROCESS

How a custom product gets built

Six stages from first brief to handoff - each one ends in a tangible artefact you can taste, test, or send to your buyer.

  1. 1

    Brief

Share your target market, reference products, cost ceiling, and any non-negotiables on label claims or ingredients. We respond with feasibility within two business days.

  2. 2

    Discovery

Our R&D team benchmarks your references, sources candidate ingredients, and maps the formulation space - then proposes two or three directions to explore.

  3. 3

    Prototype

Lab-scale prototypes built around the chosen direction, photographed and packed for shipping - typically within three to four weeks of the brief.

  4. 4

    Tasting & iteration

Structured feedback on each prototype - sensory, regulatory, cost - feeds the next iteration. Most projects converge in two to three rounds.

  5. 5

    Pilot batch

We run a production-line pilot - same equipment, same QA - and ship the result for final approval and any destination-market testing your buyers need.

  6. 6

    Handoff

Locked spec, validated process, and a sampling plan are handed to production. Your first commercial batch ships under the same documentation as the pilot.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first

Most projects converge in eight to twelve weeks from brief to pilot batch - faster when the brief is close to a category we already produce, longer for new categories or restricted ingredients.
